Classroom-Level Communication

Created a class WhatsApp group whereby two representatives from each class can receive a much quicker response for non-urgent concerns.

Behaviour Reporting Protocols

"A clearer protocol for reporting and recording undesirable behaviours would be beneficial... one would hope the parents would be informed."

Created a simplified "Behaviour Flowchart" with parents so they understand how incidents are logged, resolved, and reported back. This also includes an understanding of where staff (generally), teachers and SLT intervene and when parents are informed.

Concerns Feedback Loop

"Meetings are held, actions are agreed which do not always materialise."

Implement a formal "Close the Loop" awareness where a brief follow-up is sent after a concern is raised to ensure the parent is satisfied with the outcome. SLT monitor this regularly.

Onboarding for New Parents

"Some things rely on assumed knowledge that doesn't exist as a new parent... we find out via a sponsorship form with no explanation."

Created a "New Parent Handbook" that explains annual traditions, termly events (e.g., Danceathon, Showcase etc.)
