Writing captions

On the last day of term Barn Owls had a look at a photo on the board and wrote a caption.

This was done in groups/pairs with an adult. 

They had to repeat the words in their caption, find out the sounds that they needed and remember how to form the letters.

As if this was not enough we also introduced what a finger space is (space between each new word) and what a full stop is.

Barn Owls did so well!
