TWKSSP Sportshall - year 3/4

On Wednesday 2nd February a large squad of year 3s and 4s travelled to The Angel Centre in Tonbridge to take part in the TWKSSP Sportshall Athletics festival. They all competed in a number of track and field events, including hurdles, relays, jumps, and throws. There were 16 schools entered over the course of the day and Benenden performed very well, ending in 8th position.

Well done to Penny, Issy, Leila, Bella, Jenna, Tabitha M, Zoe, Maya, Beatrix, Ellit, Ernie, Harris, Jordan, Noah, Ellyot, Alfred, Alfie and Harry. A special congratulations to Jordan for the furthest javelin throw of the day.

Thank you to Miss Timmins for her help at this event and also to parents for getting the children to and from the venue.
