Kent Sportshall Athletics Trial

On Sunday 16th February Oscar, Finty and Pippa competed at the Kent Sportshall Athletics Trials at the Stour Centre in Ashford. They took part in a decathlon which included 2 sprints and 8 field events. I was very busy spotting 2nd place in the sprints and timing the speed bounce but managed to watch enough of the children to know that they gave their absolute best effort and performed brilliantly. We will find out later this week whether any of them have been selected for the Kent team. A huge congratulations to Oscar Lau who won the bronze medal in the boy's competition.
