Firecrests Easter Activities 27.2.24

Firecrests took part in a collection of activities related to the Easter story.

They made their own palm leaves to celebrate Palm Sunday and Jesus' arrival in Jerusalem.

Then they washed each other's hands to symbolise the servant action of Jesus washing his disciples' feet at the last supper.

They also tried some flatbreads and had wine (cranberry juice!) like Jesus did to remind his friends to remember him at each meal.

They built a den to see what it may have been like in the tomb when Jesus died. 

Finally they had a tiny party to celebrate Jesus' resurrection on Easter Sunday, they ate party rings and made colourful pictures to remind them of the story.
