Cuckoos - Term 1 Week 6

We've had another busy week in Cuckoos! We started the week by writing words that contained the split digraph e-e on the tables in phonics (which we found very, very exciting!) and finished the week with a fantastic house afternoon, learning all about our 5C needs and what happens when they are not met well (please do ask your child about their 5C needs, 'prickles' and 'prickle habits' to find out how much they have learnt about the empowerment approach). We also had a fantastic computing lesson this week and were very pleased to get the chromebooks out - we practised logging on to the chromebooks and how to use the trackpad to control the mouse!
