Cuckoos - Term 1 Week 4

What another busy week we have had in Cuckoos! We sorted objects according to their materials in Science; counted within 10 in Maths (counting on and back from any given number) and even took this learning out onto the playground using our play equipment; explored the oi, ay and oy sounds in phonics; made inferences about a character's feelings and drew story maps in English; went on a primary colour hunt to find how many things in our classroom are made of the primary colours and also practised making marks using a variety of drawing tools in art; we then finished our week with the Harvest church service - all whilst still making sure we had plenty of time to play with our friends!
